Ajay is a Managing Partner at SourceN and is responsible for driving new product development and our Social, Mobile and SaaS products and services.
Prior to Source(N), Ajay held senior executive, co-founder and board roles at several successful internet and mobile software & service companies including Utopia (acquired by USWeb), USWeb/CKS/MarchFirst, Electron Economy (acquired by Viewlocity), Ark Venture Partners, Raining Data, CyberSage Software (acquired by Macromedia), and Mobile Synthesis. Ajay is an industry thought leader and has appeared as a featured speaker at numerous conferences such as JavaOne, AjaxWorld, Comdex, and Forbes. He is a published author in various technical journals, including JavaWorld and Business Integration Journal. As a member of EPCGlobal, Ajay has also contributed to the development of numerous Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) standards along with luminaries from Wal-Mart, P&G, Gillette, the US DoD. Ajay also served as the Technical Chair of the World Wide Consortium of the Grid (W2COG), an organization sponsored by DARPA, the DoD, NPS, and the Secretary of Defense. Ajay holds degrees in molecular cellular biology and communications from the University of California at Davis.
Deepak is SourceN's resident software geek and has worked extensively in Java, PHP, Flex,RoR, Objective C and, most recently, he's been getting his hands dirty with Android. With over 20 years of engineering experience in the Web and Mobile arena, Deepak provides deep technical guidance to SourceN's young and passionate development team.
>At SourceN, Deepak guides and leads the Technical Architects and Technical Project Managers during the design and development phase of software development to ensure our clients get exactly what was envisioned during the conceptual phase. Prior to SourceN, Deepak worked at USWeb/CKS, Samsung, Nikon and a number of startups. He has consulted with companies like Apple, Palm, American Airlines, and Cummins. He also has worked closeley with companies like ATG, Interwoven, Broadvision Pandesic, Netscape, Blue Martini, BEA, and Jive Software. Deepak likes to hang out with his wife and kids and, when he has free time, he likes to play guitar and keys, but mostly he likes to sing. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering.
Karma Bhutia’s goal is to make sure that projects are adequately staffed and help ensure that projects are delivered on time, per schedule and within budget.
A Managing Partner at SourceN - Karma’s responsibilities include global delivery, strategic technology direction and new product initiatives; mentoring & developing teams to support the business plan; drive operations to meet revenue targets. Build strategic alliances & partnerships with technology providers, OEM vendors and consulting partners. Karma’s extensive (14+ years) experience in the IT industry (primarily for Banking, Trade Finance, Equity Markets, Telecom, Logistics, Maritime, Hospitality and Manufacturing) is in delivering practical solutions for business needs through optimization, redefinition and automation of cross-functional processes. Born in Sikkim, Karma earned a bachelors degree in Commerce, holds a Diploma in Electronics & Communication and is a member of the Project Management Institute. He supports an environment advocacy group working to preserve the habitat of indigenous people in the beautiful Himalayan state of Sikkim. He owns an ethnic-cuisine fine dining restaurant, he is an avid soccer fan and a guitarist.
As Vice President of Client Services, James oversees program management for SourceN’s client facing projects and venture initiatives. James’ role at SourceN is to keep customers happy while driving projects from a smooth, clearly defined kickoff to an on-time, on-budget conclusion.
James brings over 10 years of Product Management experience to SourceN – working both in Fortune 500 companies and early-Phase startup environments. In 2007, he was responsible for defining and launching the idea management application used by Intel and others while serving as Director of Product Management at Accept Software. Prior to Accept, James spent nine years at Symantec, where he was responsible for corporate strategy and product development for server virtualization and disaster recovery, where he was awarded numerous recognitions of achievement for excellence in Product Management. He holds a B.S. degree in Business / e-Business in addition to various technology certifications.

Richard joined our team in 2009 as a Business Development Manager, and has since broadened his role to include Client Services and Strategic Consulting. Richard brings over 10 years of sales and management experience to the team along with his background in Marketing. Richard’s focuses on Mobile, Online Community, Ideation, Social Media Integration, Viral Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales/Partner Enablement projects.
